Job summary

TAIT is hiring Petroleum Service Technicians to test, maintain, and repair refueling equipment while ensuring regulatory compliance for UST/AST systems. Training provided; positions range from entry-level to experienced techs, with opportunities to lead projects and mentor others.

You’ll travel to gas stations, marinas, airports, and more, supported by a company truck and tools. Remote-friendly schedules and a strong benefits package are offered, along with professional growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 2–4+ years in petroleum, mechanical, or environmental services
• Valid/Current ICC UST/AST certification and Veeder Root Install/Removal certification
• Strong troubleshooting skills with UST/AST systems
• Familiar with industry regulations and reports
• Ready to lead projects or mentor others

Responsibilities

• Complete required training, including 40-hour HAZWOPER
• Perform compliance tests (spill bucket, vapor recovery, A/B Inspections, etc.)
• Troubleshoot and repair UST/AST equipment
• Submit reports and timecards using our digital system
• Communicate with clients and represent TAIT professionally
• Work independently and follow all safety protocols
