Job summary

Terminix in the United States is seeking a Pest Control Consultant to sell pest management services to residential customers while delivering first‑class service. You will assess customer needs, consult on products, and close sales across your territory.

Key responsibilities include inspecting homes, collaborating with internal teams, and developing proposals to resolve pest issues. Travel up to 100% of the time within assigned territories is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Valid driver's license from your state of residence
• Strong social, customer service, and communication skills — sales experience preferred
• Prefer at least 1-2 years of pest technician or sales experience
• Travel up to 100% of time within assigned territory(s)

Responsibilities

• Visually inspect homes for pests and sell pest control solutions and preventative maintenance to residential customers
• Collaborate with Customer Service Center, Inside Sales, and Technicians for increased opportunities
• Identify revenue streams with existing base and service specialist engagement; develop proposals for customers to resolve pest issues and upsell services
• Complete Home diagram using Sales CRM and share for clear understanding of customer home and challenges
• Follow up on past proposals to close sales opportunities
• Provide expert knowledge to new service installations to ensure satisfactory completion
• Complete daily activities and sales performance in the CRM
