Job summary

Rentokil North America is seeking a Pest Control Consultant to sell pest management services to residential customers while delivering customer-focused service. You’ll inspect homes, assess pest issues, and propose preventive solutions, working with the local team to optimize revenue streams and close opportunities.

The role emphasizes field mobility, a strong sales drive, and the ability to travel within the territory; a driver’s license is required and benefits start on day 1.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license from your state of residence.
• Strong social, customer service, and communication skills; sales experience preferred.
• 1–2 years pest technician or sales experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Visually inspect homes for pests and assess pest harborage and entries.
• Sell pest control solutions and preventive maintenance to residential customers.
• Collaborate with Customer Service Center, Inside Sales, and Technicians for opportunities.
• Develop proposals to resolve pest issues and propose enhancements to services.
• Complete Home diagram using Sales CRM for clear understanding of the home and challenges.
• Follow up on past proposals to close sales opportunities.
• Provide expert knowledge to new service installations for satisfactory completion.
• Record daily activities and sales performance in the Sales CRM.
