Job summary

Smith Hanley is seeking an Associate Director of Performance & Reporting Analytics in the Greater Philadelphia area. The role is hybrid (office 3x per week) with possible relocation.

Salary ranges from $150k to $190k plus bonus and LTI, targeting senior-level pharmaceutical analytics leadership. You will measure and optimize field-based team effectiveness, partnering with senior leadership to define analytics strategy, identify data sources, and deliver actionable recommendations that maximize

Qualifications

• BA or MA degree preferred.
• 7–10 years in pharmaceutical/biotech analytics, KPI development, measurement, and forecasting.
• Strong background in advanced analytics, including statistical modeling and scenario planning.
• Proficiency with data visualization and analytics tools (Power BI, Tableau, Excel, Python).
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills with ability to create compelling visuals.
• Experience with BI tools and programming languages (SQL) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with senior leaders to define an insights agenda and data sources to track performance and impact.
• Deliver clear, actionable analytics to leadership teams.
• Develop and maintain performance dashboards and reporting tools to monitor metrics and trends.
• Conduct deep-dive analyses on market dynamics, competitive landscapes, and customer needs.
• Collaborate across functions to ensure analytics align with business objectives.
• Provide training and support to field-based teams to enhance analytics utilization.
• Continuously evaluate and improve analytics processes for efficiency and impact.
