Job summary

Chase Construction Group in Nashville, TN is seeking an experienced Payroll & Billing Accountant to manage field payroll across multiple commercial projects and align payroll with project costs. The role requires strong payroll systems experience and collaboration with project teams.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on field payroll background in a commercial GC setting, familiarity with Sage 300 CRE and CMiC Enterprise, and the ability to produce accurate payroll and billing for owner

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Must reside in Tennessee within commuting distance of Nashville.
• Experience with commercial general contractor payroll.
• Hands-on field payroll experience essential.
• Experience with Sage 300 CRE and/or CMiC Enterprise and Field Payroll (Field PR).
• Strong understanding of payroll, labor allocation and job costing.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Professional communication with field and office teams.

Responsibilities

• Process field payroll for employees on multiple projects.
• Manage weekly and bi-weekly payroll cycles.
• Review timesheets and job cost coding across projects.
• Ensure labor allocated to correct jobs and cost codes.
• Collaborate with field teams and PMs to resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain payroll data in Sage 300 CRE/CMiC Field PR.
• Prepare owner invoices, AIA billings and progress billings.
• Support accounts receivable, job costing and month-end close.
