Job summary

Acadian Ambulance Service in the Baytown area seeks a Paramedic to provide pre-hospital advanced life support and efficient patient transport. You will follow approved protocols, document care, and maintain ambulance readiness while supporting training for new staff.

The role requires paramedic certification, CPR and ACLS credentials, and a valid state driver’s license. This is a part-time on-site position with comprehensive benefits and supportive team culture.

Qualifications

• Paramedic certification required per state standards.
• CPR certification as established by the American Heart Association.
• ACLS certification as established by the American Heart Association.
• State-issued driver’s license required and valid.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-hospital advanced, intermediate and basic life support care and transport.
• Examine patient and assist medical personnel as needed.
• Document patient condition and care on EMS run reports.
• Maintain ambulance equipment and conduct routine inventory and testing.
• Train new employees as directed and precept EMT-Basic to Paramedic students.
