Job summary

TRG Distribution is seeking a driven Outside Sales Representative for our Mississippi region. You will develop new business opportunities, maintain relationships with customers in hydraulic and industrial hoses, gaskets, conveyor belts, and accessories, and drive sales growth in a fast‑paced industrial distribution environment.

You will conduct on‑site visits, provide product recommendations, prepare quotes, and collaborate with inside sales, operations, and suppliers to ensure timely

Qualifications

• Experience in outside sales, industrial distribution, or a related field (preferred).
• Knowledge of hydraulic hoses, industrial hoses, gaskets, conveyor belts, and accessories (a plus).
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage a sales territory effectively.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the assigned region.

Responsibilities

• Sales & Business Development – Identify and pursue new sales opportunities while maintaining and expanding relationships with existing customers.
• Customer Relationship Management – Provide expert product recommendations and solutions to meet customer needs in industries such as manufacturing, construction, and material handling.
• Technical Expertise – Develop a strong understanding of hydraulic and industrial hose systems, gaskets, conveyor belts, and related accessories to assist customers with product selection.
• On-Site Visits & Consultations – Conduct regular field visits to assess customer requirements, provide product demonstrations, and ensure seamless order fulfillment.
• Quoting & Negotiation – Prepare quotes, negotiate pricing, and close sales to achieve revenue targets.
• Market Research – Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging customer needs to identify new opportunities.
• Collaboration – Work closely with inside sales, operations, and suppliers to ensure high-quality service and timely deliveries.
