Job summary

Allegiant Business Group is seeking an Outside Sales Representative and Trainer to drive local territory growth while mentoring newer reps in practical, hands-on coaching. This boots-on-the-ground role blends sales activity with leadership duties, delivered as a 1099 contractor engagement.

You will meet business owners, deliver benefit presentations to employee groups, and guide ride-alongs and coaching sessions.

Qualifications

• Proven outside/B2B sales success in benefits/insurance.
• Experience mentoring or coaching sales teams in the field.
• Strong presentation skills with 1:1 and group settings (20–75+).
• CRM familiarity; Salesforce preferred.
• Willing to obtain Health & Life license within 90 days; Allegiant supports this.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a dependable outside sales producer in your assigned territory.
• Deliver clear, professional benefit presentations to business owners and employee groups.
• Conduct ride-alongs, debriefs, role-plays, and field coaching for new reps.
• Develop and maintain training materials, playbooks, and coaching modules.
• Work with leadership to set activity goals and improve conversions.
• Maintain your client portfolio while supporting team growth and retention.
