Job summary

Allegiant Business Group seeks an Outside Sales Representative and Trainer to grow our client base in a local territory. This boots-on-the-ground role blends field sales with hands-on coaching for newer reps.

You will deliver benefit presentations to business owners and employee groups, mentor peers through ride-alongs and debriefs, and develop concise training materials. This is a contractor engagement, travel-friendly, with licensing supported.

Qualifications

• Outside sales or B2B sales success in benefits/insurance fields preferred.
• Experience mentoring/training/coaching sales professionals in the field.
• Strong presentation skills for 1:1 and groups up to 75+.
• Organized, practical, and systems-driven with coaching focus.
• Familiarity with CRM systems; Salesforce preferred; data-driven coaching.
• Health & Life insurance license desired or willing to obtain within 90 days.
• Willing to travel regularly within the assigned territory.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a dependable outside sales producer in your territory.
• Deliver clear benefit presentations to business owners and employee groups.
• Conduct ride-alongs, debriefs, role-plays, and field coaching for reps.
• Develop and maintain training materials, playbooks, and modules.
• Collaborate with leadership to set activity goals and improve conversions.
• Maintain your client portfolio while supporting team growth and retention.
