Job summary

National Technologies (NTI), a Network Connex Company, seeks a Subcontractor Field Manager to lead field resources and oversee subcontractor teams on NTI projects. Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of progressive experience in field supervision, subcontractor management, construction operations, or a closely related discipline.
• Minimum of two years of experience leading or coordinating subcontractor crews, foremen, or multi-crew field execution preferred.
• Demonstrated experience monitoring manpower, attendance, productivity, quality, safety, and schedule commitments on active construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct field guidance to NTI resources for operational oversight of subcontractor supervisors and crews.
• Review contract scope, drawings, specifications, and customer standards with subcontractor leadership before and during work.
• Confirm staffing plans, crew composition, certifications, tools, PPE, and site access readiness align with project commitments.
• Ensure attendance, start times, crew size, work hours, absences, late arrivals, early departures, and staffing changes are monitored and reported.
• Validate field progress against production plans, look-ahead schedules, milestone dates, and completion targets.
• Evaluate subcontractor field performance on safety, quality, productivity, workmanship, supervision, documentation, and schedule reliability.
• Conduct routine field walks with subcontractor leadership to verify scope coverage and resolve execution gaps.
• Maintain objective daily records of attendance, manpower, quantities, locations, constraints, corrective actions, and commitments.
• Identify potential out-of-scope work or changes; document and escalate as needed.
• Coordinate with Project Management, Field Operations, Safety, Quality, Logistics, and customer reps to remove obstacles and maintain accountability.
• Escalate repeated performance failures or safety/quality concerns with supporting documentation and recommended action.
• Support subcontractor onboarding and performance reviews for future deployments.
