Job summary

Our client, a leader in the landscape market on the coast of North Carolina, seeks an Operations Manager to guide day-to-day field activities in a hybrid role blending strategy development with hands-on execution.

You will lead landscape construction and outdoor living teams, establish weekly leadership rhythm, build scalable systems with Lean principles, coach managers, and drive efficiency through technology.

Qualifications

• Experience in leading field operations in landscape construction or outdoor living projects.
• Strong ability to coach leaders and teams to high performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations across landscape construction and outdoor living teams, ensuring projects run on time, on budget, and at a high standard of quality.
• Establish a strong operational rhythm by running weekly leadership meetings and tracking key performance metrics that drive accountability and clarity.
• Build scalable systems using Lean principles, standardizing planning, job kickoff, quality control, and project closeout.
• Develop leaders and strengthen culture by coaching managers, crew leaders, and field teams while reinforcing high standards and collaboration.
• Drive operational efficiency through technology, leveraging software, Operating System, Lean principles and automation tools to improve visibility and reduce administrative waste.
