Job summary

Consigli Construction is seeking a Field Operations Intern for on-site, in-person learning in Milford, MA. Report to Field Operations leadership and assist with safety administration, quantity tracking, schedule analysis, and site documentation.

You will gain hands-on experience supporting superintendents and project managers, learn to read drawings, manage daily logs, and participate in QA and coordination of subcontractor activities, with exposure to CM software and CPM concepts.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• Basic knowledge of construction site safety standards, practices and protocols.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to learn CM software.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and submittals.
• Strong documentation and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the administration of the project safety program to ensure a safe and compliant work environment.
• Interpret contract drawings, submittals, and project documentation.
• Assist superintendent, project manager with daily/weekly activities and reporting.
• Develop understanding of the project schedule and critical path analysis.
• Contribute to short-term planning to meet milestones.
• Participate in QA through site inspections and material verifications.
• Coordinate subcontractor activities to support timelines and safety.
• Maintain daily logs, RFIs, submittals, and tracking for effective communication.
• Monitor on-site deliveries and inventory to keep project progress steady.
• Engage in team meetings and communicate updates and issues.
