Job summary

Qualdoc in Candor, NC seeks an Assistant Manager to oversee field operations, lead teams, and coordinate complex projects involving heavy equipment and infrastructure services. This hands-on role requires safety focus and customer-facing coordination.

The ideal candidate will have field leadership experience, a valid Class A CDL, and a strong grasp of DOT/FRA regulations. You will work with field supervisors, manage daily operations, and support growth through client engagement and project

Qualifications

Hands-on leadership in field operations.
Experience leading field teams and coordinating multiple projects.
Knowledge of DOT and FRA regulations and safety standards.
Valid Class A CDL required.
Ability to coach, mentor, and develop employees.

Responsibilities

Lead and support field supervisors, coordinate projects with safety and compliance.
Assign work, monitor progress, ensure deadlines and budgets.
Provide hands-on leadership, coaching, and problem-solving in the field.
Coordinate emergency service responses and field activities as needed.
Perform site visits to evaluate safety, quality, and efficiency.
Identify risks and implement solutions to keep projects on track.
Maintain relationships with customers, partners, and regulators.
Assist with hiring, performance reviews, and coaching.
