Job summary

Landmarc Environmental Systems, LLC is seeking an experienced equipment operator for long-term field work across multiple states. The role involves operating excavators, dozers, and articulated dump trucks on landfill projects, with substantial travel and extended site stays.

The position requires 5+ years of heavy equipment experience, willingness to live in hotels, and readiness to perform physically demanding tasks in varied weather conditions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience operating heavy equipment (excavator, dozer, ADT).
• Landfill construction experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Travel for extended periods (4 weeks on, 1 week off)
• Live in hotels and travel between states 100% of the time
• Walk long distances on rough terrain
• Perform heavy, manual work and lift up to 50 pounds
• Operate and maintain excavators and other equipment
• Ensure safety and compliance on job sites
• Overtime and weekend availability as needed
• Support site supervisors with materials and equipment needs
• Conduct routine maintenance and checks on equipment
• Assist with groundwork and pipe installations (HDPE 2"-36")
