Job summary

Met-Con, Inc. is seeking an Operations Resource and Maintenance Manager in Cocoa, FL. This hands-on leader will support field operations by managing tools, equipment, and resources, ensuring safety, efficiency, and budget alignment. The role reports to the General Manager and requires travel to jobsites.

The position emphasizes inventory control, procurement, and coordinating maintenance and dispatch for field operations vehicles, with a focus on reliability and cost effectiveness.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience managing and maintaining tools, equipment, and vehicles.
• Strong organizational and administrative skills; inventory and procurement experience preferred.
• Knowledge of construction tools, equipment, and jobsite safety protocols.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Comfortable working across office, shop, and field environments.
• Ability to travel to jobsites as needed.
• Preferred OSH compliance training including OSHA 10/30.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Field and Shop Operations Tool & Equipment Warehouse.
• Maintain accurate inventory of tools, equipment, consumables, and field vehicles.
• Dispatch tools, equipment, and consumables to jobsites promptly.
• Ensure vehicles and equipment are safe and well-maintained; coordinate repairs.
• Track usage, maintenance history, and assignments of tools and vehicles.
• Source and purchase tools and consumables within budget.
• Manage dispatch, assignment, and maintenance scheduling for field vehicles.
