Job summary

Met-Con, Inc. is seeking an Operations Resource and Maintenance Manager to lead hands-on field operations tooling, equipment, and resource management. You will ensure safe, efficient, and budget-aligned operations while developing the next generation of ironworkers.

The role reports to the General Manager and requires coordinating tools, vehicles, and consumables across field, shop, and office environments, with travel to jobsites as needed for execution.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience managing and maintaining tools, equipment, and vehicles.
• Strong organizational and administrative skills; prior inventory and procurement experience preferred.
• Knowledge of construction tools, equipment, and jobsite safety protocols.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Comfortable working across office, shop, and field environments.
• Ability to travel to jobsites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the Field and Shop Operations Tool & Equipment Warehouse.
• Maintain an accurate inventory of tools, equipment, consumables, and field-assigned vehicles.
• Dispatch vehicles, tools, equipment, and consumables to jobsites upon request, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
• Ensure vehicles, tools, and equipment remain in safe, reliable condition; coordinate external repairs or perform repairs as needed.
• Track usage, maintenance history, and assignments of all tools, equipment, and vehicles.
• Source, evaluate, and purchase tools, equipment, and consumables in line with company standards and budget.
• Manage dispatch, assignment, and maintenance scheduling for field operations vehicles.
