Job summary

Ledcor Technical Services in the United States seeks a skilled Field Operations Technician to perform installation, restoration, and maintenance of internet services and related cabling. You will install, repair, configure, and test MACD moves on Nokia, Infinera, and Ciena gear, while supporting optical, electrical, voice, and data services.

OTDR testing will be part of weekly duties. You will travel with a company vehicle and adhere to Ledcor safety standards, delivering dependable customer

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in telecommunications or related field.
• Degree or diploma from a technical college would be preferred.
• Strong communication skills in verbal and written form.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a high-quality, customer-focused service experience.
• Resolve customer issues calmly and professionally using effective deescalation techniques.
• Perform onsite installation and repair of internet services, copper and fiber cabling, demarc extensions, and rackmounted networking equipment.
• Diagnose technical problems and implement solutions, including running new cable, replacing hardware components, and installing data circuits for internet connectivity.
• Follow Ledcor's safety standards and ensure proper use of vehicles, tools, and equipment at all times.
