Job summary

Ledcor Technical Services is seeking a skilled Field Operations Technician to perform MACD installation, repair, and testing of internet services and fiber/copper cabling on customer networks across North America. You will diagnose issues, install data circuits, and ensure safety while delivering a best‑in‑class service experience.

The role requires on-site work with Nokia, Infinera, and Ciena equipment, OTDR testing, and the ability to travel with a company‑provided vehicle.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in telecommunications installation and service.
• Strong customer-service focus with integrity and empathy.
• Degree or diploma from a technical college preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality customer-focused service on site.
• Resolve customer issues calmly using de-escalation techniques.
• Install, repair, and test internet services, copper and fiber cabling, demarc extensions, and rack-mounted equipment.
• Diagnose problems and implement solutions including running new cable and replacing hardware.
• Follow safety standards and proper use of tools and equipment.
