Job summary

United Utility Services, LLC in Houston, TX is hiring a Field Operations Systems & Process Specialist to bridge Operations and Technology, driving adoption of field/work management systems built on Microsoft Power Platform.

The role focuses on training, requirements gathering, and process improvements, working with foremen, superintendents, project managers, and office staff to optimize field operations and reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3–5 years experience in utility construction, transmission and distribution operations, field operations support, or related environments.
• Experience working with field personnel, foremen, superintendents, project managers, and operational leaders.
• Strong understanding of utility construction operations and field workflows.
• Experience supporting software implementations, operational systems, or process improvement initiatives.
• Strong communication, presentation, and training skills.
• Ability to gather operational requirements and translate into practical solutions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead implementation and deployment of field and work management systems across operating divisions.
• Collaborate with field leadership and operational teams to support rollout efforts.
• Travel to divisional offices, jobsites, and field locations for training and adoption activities.
• Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency through technology.
• Serve as primary contact during deployment and go-live activities.
• Develop and maintain implementation plans and deployment schedules.
• Establish a network of field super users for ongoing adoption support.
• Monitor user adoption and system utilization metrics and adjust as needed.
• Advise on system enhancements from the field perspective.
