Job summary

Brightspeed is seeking an experienced Supervisor, Field Operations to oversee technicians and drive a high-performance field team. You will manage both residential and business service installations and maintenance, while ensuring safety and quality standards.

You will coordinate with contractors, train staff on new processes, and work closely with unions to achieve strong working relationships. This role requires rotation, pager duties, and potential overtime.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience.
• 4+ years of experience managing telecom technical teams.
• Strong training, coaching and mentoring in a union environment.
• Proficient with Outlook, Excel, Word and legacy systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operation of outside/inside plant network services and technicians.
• Serve as single point of contact between Brightspeed and Contractors.
• Lead training, coaching and development on processes, safety, expense control and skills.
• Lead a team to meet attendance and performance standards.
• Represent Brightspeed with customers and governmental agencies.
• Collaborate with the union for a win-win working relationship.
• Celebrate successes and motivate continuous improvement.
• Drive maximum performance through team motivation.
