Job summary

STRM Recruiting seeks a Superintendent to direct and coordinate subcontractor efforts across projects in the Houston area. You will partner with the Project Manager to standardize processes, hire field staff, and ensure projects meet timelines and budgets.

Responsibilities include scheduling material, maintaining safety standards, and overseeing field operations while liaising with vendors, clients, and staff. A strong background in electrical field management and team leadership is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' supervisory experience in similar facility, construction technology, methods and equipment
• Ability to manage multiple tasks under time constraints
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Experience coordinating field staffing and project timelines

Responsibilities

• Meet regularly with Project Manager and subcontractors to coordinate standardized processes and resolve concerns.
• Assist in establishing hiring processes for field personnel.
• Schedule and coordinate material to ship to job sites.
• Oversee multiple projects to meet forecasted timelines and budgets.
• Manage Safety Program and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Ensure field staff follow government regulations and contract documents.
• Coordinate with Tools/Equipment Manager on tools and inventory.
• Lead production and field staffing for a defined area.
