Job summary

CMC Development & Construction is seeking a Superintendent to lead day-to-day field operations on projects across Houston and Texas. You will coordinate subcontractors, drive the project schedule, and ensure quality control in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in commercial construction, strong leadership and scheduling skills, and experience reading drawings and coordinating trades. A Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience leading multi-trade commercial projects as a Superintendent or senior field leader.
• Ability to manage ground-up, renovations, or complex occupied-facility work from mobilization through closeout.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and quality control.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily field operations and coordinate subcontractors across trades and work areas.
• Establish safety, quality, manpower, sequencing, production, housekeeping, and schedule performance expectations.
• Champion Goal Zero safety culture and enforce OSHA requirements and site safety plans.
