Job summary

Findorff, a Milwaukee-based construction firm with over 50 years of experience, seeks an Assistant Superintendent to lead field operations. You will coordinate people, materials, equipment, and subcontractors to move projects safely, efficiently, and on schedule, working closely with foremen and project teams to achieve goals.

As a hands-on leader, you will develop field talent, solve problems, and foster a collaborative jobsite culture where teams can do their best work, while upholding safety

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in commercial construction.
• Experience leading field crews, coordinating activities, and driving project execution.
• Ability to plan and organize work, anticipate challenges, and maintain schedules.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, tools, equipment, materials, and jobsite safety.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, decision making, and conflict resolution skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead field operations by coordinating people, materials, equipment, and subcontractors to meet schedule and budget.
• Work with foremen, project teams, and trade partners to support project goals.
• Develop field talent, solve problems, and foster a collaborative jobsite culture.
• Coordinate daily construction activities, deliveries, equipment, and subcontractor functions.
• Identify roadblocks, evaluate solutions, and make timely decisions to protect safety, quality, and profitability.
