Job summary

Kinder Morgan is seeking a skilled operations technician to operate and maintain engines, pumps, valves and related equipment across our pipelines and compressor stations in Carlsbad, NM. You will start, stop, monitor parameters, and ensure safe, cost-efficient performance.

The role requires diagnosing and repairing equipment, performing preventive maintenance, coordinating with third parties, and complying with DOT, EPA and internal standards.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Start, stop, and operate engines/pumps within defined parameters.
• Ensure cost-effective and efficient performance of engines, pumps, and equipment at stations and pipelines.
• Diagnose and repair engines, turbines, pumps, seals, valves, and instruments.
• Install and maintain valves, pipe, and related equipment, plus corrosion protection systems.
