Job summary

Kinder Morgan is seeking a hands-on Operations & Maintenance professional to operate and maintain gas pipelines and compression facilities, including compressors, engines, pumps, valves, and related equipment. You will install, repair, and service valves and piping, and manage records and safety compliance.

This role requires strong mechanical skills, basic math and computing ability, and the flexibility to respond to callouts after hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic computer and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain gas pipelines and compression facilities, incl. compressors, engines, turbines, pumps, valves, seals.
• Install, repair, and service valves and pipe and other pipeline appurtenances.
• Oversee safety, compliance (PHMSA, EPA, state agencies) and documentation.
• Coordinate with landowners, officials, and contractors; supervise third parties.
• Respond to callouts and emergencies after hours; maintain records and procedures.
