Job summary

Praying Pelican Missions is seeking applicants local to the Appalachia region to coordinate field operations, recruit, plan and lead Christian mission teams for service with host church partners and locally run ministries. Facilitate life-changing experiences!

The Operations Coordinator serves as a primary field operations leader, advancing the Gospel by partnering with local churches, recruiting and guiding mission teams, and ensuring excellence, integrity, and long-term impact in all logistics

Qualifications

• Leadership and interpersonal skills, ability to interact with diverse backgrounds; positive, encouraging demeanor; diplomacy and negotiation.
• Excellent planning, time management, and organizational skills; proficiency with Google Suite.
• Ability to travel at least 7 weeks per year; flexible, team-oriented; valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed recruiting, call/contact, and renewal goals.
• Coordinate trip setup in assigned locations and communicate details accordingly.
• Attend scheduled conferences, recruiting meetings, and training sessions.
• Guide group leaders through trip preparation with standards and guidelines.
• Develop customized itineraries to meet host partner goals.
• Provide timely communication of trip details to all teams you are consulting and leading.
• Maintain administrative records, including logs and notes.
• Renew past teams through Mission Control and meet renewal goals.
