Qualifications

• Willingness to work in a Christian environment.
• 1-year previous work experience in construction management or similar role.
• Basic knowledge of construction materials, equipment, and management processes.
• Able to multitask and manage time efficiently.
• Excellent communication skills and interpersonal abilities, including negotiation.
• Highly organized; ability to plan ahead and work well in a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist with pre-construction readiness, including permits, approvals, and inspection schedules with local jurisdictions.
• Coordinate temporary and permanent utility setup for construction operations.
• Maintain organized records for permits, inspections, utilities, site plans, and compliance.
• Track administrative milestones to support schedules and grants.
• Coordinate inspections and approvals with ASP staff, inspectors, and jurisdictions.
• Manage inventory of materials, tools, and equipment; ensure sites are ready for activity.
• Oversee material delivery, transport, storage, and setup at worksites.
• Assist with bulk material ordering and timely deliveries from local vendors.
• Coordinate dumpsters and removal of waste; ensure materials are covered and secured.
• Support scheduling of construction projects and communication with suppliers and volunteers.
• Coordinate subcontractors and their work; assist with Summer Repair Program preparations.
• Schedule and communicate with volunteers regarding projects, skills, capacity, and details.
• Manage volunteers on site with focus on safety and stewardship.
• Assist coding receipts and invoices; review weekly budget reports.
• Update East Tennessee programs and procedures; uphold mission and budget guidelines.
