Job summary

Praying Pelican Missions (PPM) seeks an Operations Manager to oversee field operations in the Appalachia region, ensuring alignment with our mission to partner with local churches for the Gospel.

You will recruit and lead mission teams, manage budgeting and planning, supervise staff, and develop new processes to advance regional goals while maintaining integrity and Christ-centered service.

Qualifications

• Leadership, management experience and strong relational skills across diverse teams.
• Excellent planning and organizational skills; financial management experience preferred.
• Ability to travel up to 25% of the time to field sites; valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Provide vision and leadership in recruitment and consulting activities for Christians.
• Lead mission trips and oversee field operations with budget management.
• Maintain monthly relationships with host pastors and partners; oversee local hiring and training.
• Promote PPM’s values, supervise staff, and participate in KPI-driven performance reviews.
• Develop and sponsor Church partnerships and fundraising efforts.
