Job summary

QXO, a leading building products distributor and installer, seeks an experienced Field Operations Leader in Fort Myers, FL. You will oversee daily field operations for trim and window installation, supervise crews and subcontractors, and ensure projects meet quality standards, schedules, and codes.

You will coordinate with clients and office teams, conduct site visits and inspections, and manage punch lists while maintaining strong customer relationships and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in residential construction, finish carpentry, window installation, or exterior building products.
• Minimum 2 years of leadership or field management experience.
• Strong knowledge of trim and window installation methods and construction best practices.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and mobile project management applications.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily field operations for trim and window installation projects across assigned communities.
• Supervise, coach, and develop installation crews and subcontractors.
• Ensure all projects are completed with quality, accuracy, and compliance with applicable building codes.
• Coordinate installation schedules between customers and office staff.
• Conduct site visits, quality inspections, and final project walkthroughs.
• Create and manage punch lists to ensure timely project completion.
• Resolve field issues and customer concerns in a prompt and professional manner.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Monitor labor productivity, material usage, and project performance metrics.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, reports, and status updates.
