Job summary

QXO is seeking a Field Manager, Customer Service to lead field activities for window and door projects in new single-family home construction. You will be the main liaison between ABS and builders, ensuring quality installation, precise measurements, issue resolution, and exceptional service on site.

You will manage pre-construction walks, coordinate with multiple internal teams, process EPOs, verify material needs, and drive timely issue resolution with Superintendents and the Installation

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in construction or building materials.
• Strong understanding of window and door installation practices.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Proficiency in measurements and basic math.
• Microsoft Office skills (especially Excel).
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Effective communication both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary liaison between ABS and builders/superintendents for field coordination.
• Coordinate with Order Entry, Service/Warranty, and Installation departments.
• Submit Extra Purchase Order (EPO) requests when builder-related issues arise.
• Identify and communicate additional material needs and approve EPOs for add-ons.
• Request material pickups through Order Entry and ensure alignment with specs and codes.
• Perform pre-construction/pre-walks, installation, and post-walk inspections.
