Job summary

TC Energy Corp. in the United States is seeking an experienced Area Manager to lead the Pacific Mountain Region, Tuscarora - Baja team. You will apply safety, project management, and technical expertise to ensure continuous operation and budget control within TC Energy’s standards.

The role requires leadership of employees under the IBEW Local Union #77, ensuring safety excellence and regional collaboration, with domestic relocation and a hybrid work model.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of related experience in a leadership role
• Experience in energy industry or natural gas transmission/storage is preferred
• Travel approx. 40% to work locations
• Ability to influence, engage, and develop a team
• Strong written and verbal communication across all levels of the organization

Responsibilities

• Provide active leadership and ensure adherence to policies and procedures
• Oversee safety, field operations, project management, and technical processes
• Plan, administer, and control budgets for the assigned area
• Lead, mentor, and coach employees; develop a high-performing organization
• Foster an inclusive, diverse, and collaborative work environment
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, LSRs, and emergency procedures
• Represent the company and build partnerships with internal and external stakeholders
