Job summary

uniQure seeks a Director of Field Operations to drive field readiness, execution, and launch performance across customer-facing teams. The role requires up to 40% travel, including to the Lexington office, and focuses on field planning, KPI governance, and insights-driven decision-making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, specialty care, or commercial operations with at least 5+ years in Field, Sales, Commercial Operations or Sales Force Effectiveness.
• Strong expertise in territory design, CRM systems (as a field business owner), incentive compensation, commercial analytics, and field force effectiveness.
• Experience in rare disease is a must and gene therapy experience strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to influence senior leaders and drive complex, cross-functional initiatives in fast-paced, high-stakes environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead field planning & deployment strategies in partnership with field leadership.
• Oversee annual and ongoing field planning analyses, territory design, alignment, and targeting.
• Translate field design, account segmentation, and targeting logic into field-ready CRM workflows, call plans, execution guidance, and KPIs.
• Oversee credentialing processes to ensure compliant healthcare system access for field personnel, including vendor management and reporting.
• Lead incentive compensation operations in partnership with field leadership, Finance, HR, Legal, Compliance, and BI&A.
• Drive cross-functional leadership with the Customer & Strategy Team to ensure operational excellence and regulatory compliance.
