Job summary

WM is seeking a driven Operations Manager Trainee to oversee onboarding, development, coaching, and performance management for drivers and helpers. The role emphasizes building strong relationships with frontline employees and frequent field presence to support daily operations.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma (or higher) and be legally eligible to work in the United States, with a valid driver's license. WM values safety and the WM Way in all coaching interactions.

Qualifications

• Requires 18 years of age or older.
• Legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Valid Driver's license is required.
• Preferred completion of WM Operations Manager Trainee program.

Responsibilities

• Onboard, develop, coach, mentor, and manage performance of all drivers and helpers.
• Establish and maintain positive relationships with frontline employees.
• Spend the majority of the day in the field with frontline staff.
• Provide tools, instruction, and feedback for daily duties.
• Conduct safety focus and lead by example with WM Way.
