Job summary

GreenDrop is seeking an Associate Manager to lead day-to-day donor service across 20–30 sites, modeling integrity, respect, and teamwork. This hands-on role requires coaching staff, ensuring safety, and delivering exceptional donor experiences in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

You will train new managers, manage supplies, oversee interviews, and collaborate with Area Manager to meet targets while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and customer care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years in a supervisory customer service role leading 10+ team members.

Responsibilities

• Train and coach new Associate Managers in Training and existing team members on all company policies and procedures.
• Actively engage in the field with direct oversight of 20–30 sites.
• Perform all functional responsibilities of an Area Manager: hiring, coaching, counseling, firing duties, tracking time, people management and development.
• Support Area Manager in reviewing applications, conducting interviews, selecting talent, and completing onboarding activities.
• Manage supplies, assets, and maintenance requests at each site; ensure timely pickup requests are communicated.
• Interact independently or collaboratively with donors, exercising good judgment and maintaining a positive, customer‑focused mindset.
• Provide friendly, helpful, and efficient donor service; represent GreenDrop brand in uniform.
• Assist donors and truck drivers with donated merchandise, unloading, and respecting donated items; promote repeat donations.
• Work efficiently, request assistance as needed, and follow safety and cleanliness standards to protect team members and donors.
• Report hazards or injuries to management; record donor information on tablet.
• Organize donations in the stock room throughout the shift.
• Prepare and send daily and weekly supply needs to the Area Manager.
• Perform other duties assigned by manager.
