Job summary

Power Dry in Columbus, OH is seeking an Operations Field Manager to supervise a team of technicians handling water and mold damage. You will guide field crews, ensure safety standards, and manage installations and project workflows from start to finish.

Ideal candidates bring 2-5 years of management in restoration, hands-on construction experience, and strong leadership with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required.
• 2-5 years of management experience in construction, restoration, or related industry preferred.
• Hands-on construction experience strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of financial reporting, job costing, and resource management.
• Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to motivate and develop teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop the mitigation team to achieve operational excellence and exceptional customer satisfaction
• Oversee mitigation projects from start to finish, ensuring quality workmanship and on-time completion
• Conduct on-site inspections and provide hands-on leadership when needed
• Direct crews in the field and ensure proper construction and mitigation methods are followed
• Develop and improve operational workflows to maximize efficiency and productivity
• Monitor project progress, resolve issues quickly, and ensure customer expectations are exceeded
• Manage customer complaints and service issues through resolution, working directly with customers to address concerns and ensure a positive overall experience.
• Hire, onboard, train, and mentor new team members
• Conduct ongoing performance evaluations and provide coaching for continuous improvement
• Collaborate with other department leaders to coordinate staffing, equipment, and project resources
• Oversee inventory management and ensure equipment is properly maintained and available
• Review construction plans, scopes of work, and project documentation
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, company safety standards, and industry best practices
• Provide operational support during emergency situations, including after-hours response when needed
• Monitor job costing, resource allocation, and operational performance
