Job summary

PPS is seeking an experienced Field Operations Manager to lead the field execution of our Controls & Automation projects. This hands-on leadership position manages field technicians, electricians, controls personnel, contractors, and field resources across local and national projects.

The ideal candidate understands industrial electrical systems, controls and automation, project execution, and—and most importantly—how to lead people in the field. Travel up to 75% is expected.

Qualifications

• 5–8+ years of industrial electrical, controls, automation, or field operations experience.
• Ability to travel up to or exceeding 75%.
• Proven experience managing field crews or field operations.
• Experience reading electrical schematics and control drawings.
• Strong communication and problem‑solving skills; OSHA safety knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead, schedule, and develop field technicians, electricians, controls technicians, and other field personnel.
• Coordinate field activities with Project Managers and Engineers.
• Ensure field installations follow drawings, specifications, and codes.
• Monitor field productivity, safety, and quality.
• Travel up to 75% and manage field deployment across projects.
