Pronto AI seeks a seasoned mining professional to lead on-site deployments as Field Operations Manager. You will bridge Pronto’s autonomous haulage technology with the mine’s day-to-day operations, manage a high-performing field team, and deliver projects to safety and performance criteria.

This on-site, field-based role travels across the United States with rotations; expect up to 75% travel and a base salary range of $139,000 to $176,000 per year plus equity and bonus opportunities.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of direct mining experience.
• 5–10 years in a leadership role.
• Experience with technology rollouts (autonomy, remote operations, telematics).
• University degree in Mining Engineering required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver projects meeting performance metrics and safety criteria.
• Lead on-site field team including permitting, scheduling, safety compliance.
• Act as liaison between the customer site and Pronto HQ, providing regular progress reports.
• Oversee handover and training on Pronto technology to the mine’s operations team.
