Job summary

Environmental Restoration LLC is seeking a Health and Safety Manager to lead our safety program across field and office locations. You will develop and enforce policies, conduct risk assessments, and drive regulatory compliance with OSHA, EPA, and DOT standards.

Travel to field sites is required as part of ensuring safe operations. The role demands a Bachelor’s in a safety-related field and 5+ years of experience, plus strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a safety-related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of progressive health and safety experience.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety standards.
• Experience in incident investigations and root-cause analyses.
• Excellent communication, leadership and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain health and safety policies and programs.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, DOT, and applicable regulations.
• Conduct workplace inspections, hazard analyses, and risk assessments.
• Investigate incidents and determine root causes with corrective actions.
• Maintain records on injuries, inspections, and training compliance.
• Lead safety committees and promote employee engagement.
• Deliver safety orientation and ongoing training for staff.
• Monitor PPE use and ensure compliance with standards.
• Coordinate emergency response planning, drills, and evacuations.
• Review contractor safety performance and compliance.
• Analyze safety metrics and prepare management reports.
• Collaborate with operations to improve safety performance.
