Job summary

Environmental Restoration LLC is seeking a Health and Safety Manager to lead our workplace health, safety, and environmental programs across sites nationwide with emphasis on Texas operations. You will develop policies, conduct risk assessments, and ensure regulatory compliance.

The role requires strong leadership, incident investigation expertise, and the ability to train and engage employees at all levels. Travel to field locations is expected as part of the role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
• 5+ years of progressive health and safety experience.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and workplace safety standards.
• Experience conducting incident investigations and root cause analyses.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain company health and safety policies, procedures, and programs.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, DOT, and other regulatory requirements.
• Conduct regular workplace inspections, job hazard analyses, and risk assessments.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, near misses, and property damage events, determining root causes and corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate records related to injuries, illnesses, inspections, training, and regulatory compliance.
• Lead safety committees and promote employee engagement in safety initiatives.
• Develop and deliver safety orientation and ongoing training programs for employees and supervisors.
• Monitor the use of PPE and ensure compliance with company standards.
• Coordinate emergency response planning, drills, and evacuation procedures.
• Review contractor and subcontractor safety performance and compliance.
• Analyze safety metrics and prepare reports for management.
• Partner with operations and leadership teams to improve workplace safety performance.
• Stay current on changing regulations and industry best practices.
