Near is connecting top talent in Latin America with remote opportunities at U.S.-based companies. We’re hiring a Field Operations Engineer – Lead-in-Training to support residential installations from scheduled work through inspections and final closeout.

This role works directly with electricians, installers, homeowners, vendors, and field teams to resolve issues, coordinate completion, and own outcomes from start to finish.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in Field Service, Field Operations, Construction, or similar.
• Experience working with technicians, electricians, installers, contractors.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to drive issues to resolution independently.
• Highly organized with attention to detail and follow-through.
• Capable of managing multiple installations and priorities.

Responsibilities

• Support multiple active field crews and residential installations.
• Troubleshoot installation issues with field teams.
• Ensure crews have information, resources, and support for successful installations.
• Review job-site photos and docs to identify quality issues.
• Coordinate completion visits and inspections with homeowners and capacity.
• Maintain ownership of issues until full resolution.
