Job summary

Gallatin is seeking a Mission Operations Engineer to join the Field Engineering team. You will own the technical relationship with strategic public sector accounts, integrating Navigator into their systems and workflows from onboarding to production deployment.

You will collaborate across engineering and product to resolve blockers, design data pipelines, and scale customer implementations while building deep domain expertise in defense logistics and AI-powered sustainment."

Qualifications

• Track record of success in a hybrid customer-facing engineering role.
• Hands-on technical experience with clients in pre- or post-sales, implementation, or program delivery.
• Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, or similar modern languages.
• Strong engineering background in CS, Math, or a related field.
• Strong project management and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to executives and engineers.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Implement end-to-end data integrations between customers' logistics systems and Navigator.
• Partner with customer engineering teams to optimize data pipelines and API design.
• Design, develop, and maintain playbooks, tooling, and onboarding docs.
• Debug delivery issues, own escalations, and remove blockers with product and engineering.
• Own the customer experience lifecycle from onboarding to daily use.
• Work with Engagement Managers to surface feature requests for the roadmap.
• Build domain expertise in defense logistics, AI/ML for sustainment, and enterprise integrations.
• Represent Gallatin at customer sites, reviews, and industry events.
