Job summary

Gallatin is hiring cleared engineers to build demo-able end-to-end flows that make resupply operations smarter, faster, and more resilient. You will extend APIs, design robust data models, and collaborate across product, UX, and platform teams to deliver production-ready software with strong security requirements.

You’ll work on relational schemas, data pipelines, and a semantic data modeling SDK to optimize storage and retrieval, while continuously improving CI/CD and DX across the stack.

Qualifications

• Cleared TS/SCI or equivalent required.
• Experience developing backend APIs or services in a strongly-typed language.
• Hands-on data modeling and relational databases design.
• Proficiency with CI/CD processes and production code reviews.
• Ability to collaborate with product, UX, and other engineers.

Responsibilities

• Build and deliver features that support our mission.
• Extend API layer with performant CRUD methods focusing on performance and accuracy.
• Collaborate with UX and backend developers on rapid feature buildouts.
• Contribute production-ready code that passes CI/CD.
• Design and maintain data models and pipelines powering Navigator.
• Build data pipelines to ingest, transform, and distribute data between systems.
• Work with cross-functional teams to align features with user needs and mission outcomes.
• Improve CI/CD workflows and uphold engineering best practices.
