Job summary

UES, Inc. is seeking a Dispatcher to coordinate daily job assignments and optimize Field Engineering Technician scheduling to ensure timely service and efficiency.

You will be the primary contact for client requests, using dispatch software to deploy technicians by location and availability, while supporting laboratory sample logistics and equipment check-outs. Strong communication and organization are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• 1-3 years of related training or experience with an AEC firm preferred.
• Computer skills to operate a laptop and learn FDC software.
• Ability to read, write, and interpret procedures and reports.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Communicate professionally with client representatives via phone and email for job assignments.
• Document conversations with clients and prepare work orders.
• Coordinate job assignments using dispatching software to maximize production and minimize travel time.
• Manage the scheduling, deployment, and Time Off usage of all Field Technicians.
• Organizes laboratory sample retrieval and notifies the Laboratory Supervisor of pending rushes.
• Maintains log of Nuclear equipment checked in or out, and distributes dosimeter badges to Technicians.
• Assist the Productivity Project Manager with work orders and Technician paperwork issues.
• Obtain and organize all purchase orders prior to scheduling Technicians.
• Adhering and abiding to all safety procedures.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
