Your Job

Masen, a Koch owned and operated IoT services startup, is seeking a Field Operations Director to join our growing team. The Field Operations Superintendent will be responsible for managing and overseeing IoT project installations, maintenance activities, and unplanned event responses on IoT monitoring devices at industrial sites across the country.

The location for this role is preferably in the Atlanta, Dallas, or Charlotte areas but is open to remote candidates in any U.S. location. This position requires travel of approximately 60% to industrial sites across the U.S. depending on location.

The salary range for this role is $130,000 to $180,000.

What You Will Do

• Lead and own Masen’s nationwide field operations, driving excellence and accountability across all projects and activities.
• Oversee and manage Masen Field Operations technicians, fostering a high-performing team through recruitment, training, mentorship, and hands-on guidance.
• Manage and validate work conducted by 3rd party contractors, ensuring quality and efficiency standards are met.
• Support the Masen Commercial Team by managing customer communications related to field operations, enhancing customer satisfaction and trust.
• Sign-off and validate all in-field work, maintaining accurate documentation and compliance.
• Collaborate with the Business Operations Team to align schedules, quotes, and workflows with strategic goals.
• Be an active leader, working alongside your team in the field when necessary to ensure success.
• Drive operational excellence by owning outcomes and productivity of the field operations team nationwide.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• Experience overseeing installation, in-field work, and maintenance of IoT or advanced monitoring systems in industrial facilities.
• Knowledge of industrial infrastructure, installation methodologies, E&I, and safety standards.
• Experience supporting, developing, and executing project schedules.
• Ability to plan, coordinate, and manage work activities on a national scale.
• Experience managing industrial contractors.
• Willingness to travel and ability to work in industrial settings.
