Director, Operations and Business Development - Anesthesia (Dallas based ideally or remote in US)

The Director of Operations and Business Development reports directly to the CEO of Provider Staffing Solutions, with responsibilities including coordinating with local, regional, and TPR leadership to develop physician manpower strategies within assigned markets. The role acts as the primary liaison for physician employment transactions and requires frequent interaction with TPR market and Dallas-based leadership.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Use Astute Judgment: Manage financial planning, identify new physician opportunities, develop employment plans aligned with legal and ethical standards, monitor market trends, and assess community needs.
  2. Drive Organizational Success: Assess candidates for education, experience, attitude; build physician loyalty; manage employment negotiations; develop comprehensive compensation packages.
  3. Ensure Collaboration: Maintain visibility in the physician community, foster collaborative problem-solving, and build relationships with local physicians.
  4. Shape Strategy: Coordinate with market teams on physician employment strategies, analyze market data, and develop growth opportunities.
Core Duties:
  • Oversee clinical operations and patient care initiatives.
  • Develop staffing schedules, manage billing and coding compliance, and lead physician employment plans.
  • Manage market dynamics, financial analyses, and physician transaction pipelines.
Travel:

Extensive travel within assigned markets is required. A motor vehicle record check will be conducted on final candidates.

Qualifications:
  • Licensed CRNA and Bachelor's degree required.
  • Minimum five years of hospital practice experience; management experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of healthcare law, financial planning, and practice development.

Compensation and Benefits:
