Job summary

Kiewit is seeking an entry-level Civil Engineer for its Water Facilities South district. You will perform engineering work across field and office settings, participate in estimating, and support project teams with data and planning.

Travel to multiple project sites nationwide is expected; a related degree is required and strong safety, ethics, and teamwork are essential. This role is full-time in field operations and offices.

Qualifications

• Willingness to travel and relocate to various cities as business requires.
• Degree in civil engineering, construction management, or related field.
• Infrastructure/Heavy Civil project experience is preferred.
• Ability to access construction sites in diverse climates and environments.
• Strong work ethic with initiative and ethics.

Responsibilities

• Assist in interpreting drawings and specifications for field crews.
• Perform quantity takeoffs and measurements; support cost estimation.
• Assist in preparing work plans, JHA’s, and field data collection.
• Coordinate material deliveries and supervise field operations.
• Support in generating change orders and as-built data with Project Manager.
