Job summary

Kiewit is seeking an Entry Level Engineer for our Water Facilities South district. You will assist in field and office engineering across water/wastewater projects, with travel and relocation to cities nationwide as business requires. You’ll gain hands-on experience, safety training, and exposure to cost estimating and bid processes early in your career.

Qualifications

Willingness to travel and relocate nationally.
Undergraduate or graduate degree in civil engineering, construction management or related field.
Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
Must have a valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

Assist in interpretation of drawings and specifications for field crews and craft supervision.
Perform material takeoffs, basic engineering calculations, and drafting support for field ops.
Support in estimating, bid preparation, and subcontract data collection.
Coordinate with field operations for scheduling and delivery of materials.
Assist in job cost data entry and daily reporting.
