Kiewit invites entry-level field engineering candidates to join our South Central District. This role supports field and office teams across infrastructure projects, with opportunities for hands-on learning, cost awareness, and safety leadership.

Relocation and extensive travel may be required to serve projects across multiple states, including MS. Ideal candidates hold a civil engineering or construction management degree and demonstrate a strong work ethic, team skills, and a safety-first

Qualifications

• Willingness to travel and relocate as business requires on a national scale.
• Associates, undergraduate, or graduate degree in civil engineering, construction management or related field.
• Infrastructure/Heavy Civil project experience is preferred.
• Must have a valid Driver’s License.
• Ability to access all points of a construction site in varying climates.

Responsibilities

• Assist in interpretation of drawings and specifications for field crews and craft supervision.
• Perform quantity calculations by taking measurements and determining completed/installed materials.
• Assist in preparation of work plans and work packages.
• Assist in field surveying and work layout support including elevations and control points.
• Assist in compiling daily labor timesheets and JHA development.
• Assist in scheduling material deliveries and coordinating work groups on site.
• Supervise field operations and support subcontractor activities.
• Enter data into the job cost system and review cost reports with site management.
