Job summary

RCM Healthcare Services is seeking a Field Nurse Case Manager to support workers’ compensation cases in the Fresno/LA region. The role emphasizes coordinating medical treatment and return‑to‑work planning with a smaller caseload, enabling focused, high‑quality case management.

You will travel locally, work full‑time in the field, and benefit from strong leadership, mileage reimbursement, and a bonus opportunity tied to performance.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree from an accredited program required.
• Active California RN license required.
• CCM certification preferred.
• Workers’ compensation or occupational health experience preferred.
• Field-based case management and strong clinical skills required.
• Excellent documentation and communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Manage a smaller, manageable caseload of workers’ compensation cases.
• Assess injured workers and coordinate medical treatment and rehabilitation services.
• Attend medical appointments and monitor progress.
• Communicate with physicians, therapists, adjusters, employers and insurers.
• Coordinate modified-duty and return-to-work recommendations based on medical restrictions.
• Advocate for injured workers and explain treatment plans.
• Prepare monthly reports, case documentation, billing, and records.
• Maintain timely, professional communication throughout each case.
