Job summary

RCM Healthcare Services is seeking a Field Nurse Case Manager for workers' compensation coverage in the Fresno/Los Angeles area. This role involves coordinating medical treatment, attending physician appointments, and guiding return-to-work plans while maintaining a manageable caseload.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree from an accredited program is required.
• Active California Registered Nurse license is required; CCM preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage a smaller, manageable caseload of workers' compensation cases.
• Assess injured workers and coordinate medical treatment and rehabilitation services.
• Attend medical appointments and provide ongoing assessment of the worker’s progress.
• Communicate with physicians, therapists, employers, adjusters, and insurance representatives.
• Coordinate modified-duty and return-to-work recommendations based on medical restrictions.
• Advocate for injured workers and explain treatment plans and physician recommendations.
• Prepare monthly reports, case documentation, billing, and required records.
• Maintain timely and professional communication throughout the life of each case.
